AREUEA Data Insights is designed to provide key insights about datasets that are useful for real estate and urban economics research, including information about the strengths/limits of alternative datasets, recommended datasets that include specific variables, and contact information for experts that have used these datasets and are willing to answer questions or potentially collaborate on research projects.

Examples of datasets currently covered include CompStak, Costar, Cotality, the CRSP-Ziman REIT database, and DataAxle.

The usefulness of this tool comes from the insights provided by users of the data for research purposes and the practical recommendations to data users. 

We appreciate data users submitting revisions to any of the datasets currently posted or adding new ones they have experience with and believe could be of value to AREUEA's community.
