In Memoriam - C.F. Sirmans

The American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) mourns the loss of a dear friend, colleague, and scholar. C.F. Sirmans passed away at his home in Tallahassee on March 25, 2024. C.F. co-edited our association journal, the Journal of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (now Real Estate Economics). C.F. was also the recipient of AREUEA’s George F. Bloom Award in 2001. His scholarship, service, and mentorship have touched generations of AREUEA members. He will be deeply missed!
