International Review of Finance 2025 Conference and Special Issue on Real Estate, Household, and ESG Finance

The International Review of Finance (IRF) is pleased to call for papers for a Conference on “Real Estate, Household, and ESG Finance” and the corresponding IRF Special Issue.

Professor Sheridan Titman of the University of Texas, Austin, will deliver a keynote address at the conference.

The IRF was launched in 1999 with Professor Sheridan Titman as the founding editor. The objective of IRF is to publish high-quality research on financial economics, especially for topics relevant to Asia-Pacific region or by Asia-Pacific finance scholars. The journal is sponsored by the Nippon Finance Association and the Asian Finance Association.

Building on the success of the 25th Anniversary Conference in 2024, the IRF 2025 conference will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Yokohama, Japan. There is no submission or registration fee for this conference, but participants are expected to pay for their own airfare and accommodation. This conference will be immediately followed by the annual conference of the Nippon Finance Association in Yokohama at the same venue on June 14-15, 2025. Paper Submission Process:

The conference has two paper submission tracks: The conference track accepts paper submissions for conference presentation only, while the dual track accepts paper submissions for conference presentation and for rapid and favorable consideration for the IRF Special Issue. In addition to paper submissions, we will also invite speakers and discussants, especially finance scholars who have been affiliated with the IRF.

The guest editors of the special issue will be Jiro Yoshida from Penn State University. Papers will be reviewed by members of the conference committee.
