The School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the CUHK Business School now invites applications for multiple (tenure-track) faculty positions in the area of real estate commencing June / July 2023.  Applications from qualified scholars with a focus on either real estate finance and/or urban economics will be considered.

Applicants should be promising or established scholars with a PhD degree (by the time reporting for duty) in real estate or a related field. The appointee will mainly conduct high quality research and publish in top-tier mainstream finance and economics journals, and top-tier real estate and urban economics journals. In addition, they may undertake duties to teach basic and advanced level real estate and/or real estate related finance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to render services to the School of Hotel and Tourism Management to advance its real estate communities.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing June / July  2023, which, subject to demonstration of the requisite level of performance and mutual agreement, may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation later.  Outstanding candidates with substantial experience for Professor rank may be considered for substantive appointment forthwith.
