Travel Visa Information and Application

The Turkish Embassy personnel strongly encouraged our conference participants to obtain their travel visa’s in advance of their trip. The visa application should be completed and the accompanying documents should be mailed to the Embassy of the participant’s jurisdiction. The turn-around for obtaining a visa is fairly quick, for example the Washington Embassy is completing Visa applications in about a week’s time. The visa cost for a US citizen is $37.00 and should be paid via a money order made out to the Turkish Embassy. Approved visa’s for US citizens are valid for one year. Visa expiry dates vary by country and citizens from countries other than the US should check with the closest Turkish Embassy to verify the expiration period for their country (many are only valid for 90 days from the time of obtainment).

Please download/print the visa application details to ensure that you visa application is complete and submitted to the appropriate Turkish Embassy for your state's jurisdiction.
