2006 International Conference

Held for the first time in 1992, AREUEA's annual International Conference over the years has become the leading conference to address global developments in international topics that affect real estate and urban economics. AREUEA membership now include individuals and libraries from over 45 countries around the world.

General Conference Information

The American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) and the Asian Real Estate Society (AsRES) are pleased to announce their joint international conference to be held June 30 to July 3, 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This co-sponsored event brings academics, practitioners and policymakers from around the world together in one of the world's most beautiful cities to present, hear, and discuss new research in urban and real estate economics, real estate finance, development and investment. In addition to paper sessions covering current theoretical and applied research, the conference will feature a number of special panel discussion sessions.

Papers and/or abstracts MUST BE submitted on-line via the AREUEA conference website. Abstracts must be submitted by January 28, 2006 (DEADLINE EXTENDED) and provide the following information: Title of the paper, two or three key words indicating the topic, corresponding author
