A position has been created for an Audit Risk Modeling Senior to provide
expertise in both Risk Analytics and Model Risk, as well as act as project
leader and quantitative Subject Matter Expert for Internal Audit’s investigations,
audits and reviews.
Primary responsibilities include:

Planning, executing and documenting analysis of complex financial
models
·
Developing corrective actions for model deficiencies through
consultation with audit clients, and providing insights into how clients can
improve the quality of their modeling
·
Preparing and reviewing model assessment procedures
·
Interacting with clients in order to assess the materiality
of models, analyze problems, develop alternatives, build consensus and support
solution implementation
·
Providing innovative, thorough and practical solutions to a
wide range of complex problems
·
Representing the organization as the principal customer contact
on contracts, and interacting with senior customer personnel on significant
technical matters
·
Acting as project leader
Minimum
qualifications include:
·
Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)
·
Minimum 5-7 years’ related experience that includes leading
model audits and model validation, especialy for financal models witih complex
cash flows
·
Experience in defining, executing and improving model audit
and model validation procedures consistent and best practices
·
Broad background in cash flow model development and assessment
for financial services institutions
·
Expertise in the secondary mortgage marketing and mortgage
servicing processes
·
Demonstrated ability to influence others in adopton of model
recommendations and improvement strategies
·
Excellent work planning, project management and communication
skills
·
Excellent quantitative analysis and diagnosis skills, in context
of model development and analysis
·
SAS skills a plus, but not required
