Date: 02 October 2009

Make Plans Now for the

ARES 2010 Annual Meeting in

Naples, Florida, April 14-17, 2010

Introduction to the Conference

The ARES Annual Meeting offers the chance to gain early exposure to cutting-edge research years in advance of when it may appear in professional practice and in textbooks. ARES also provides a forum for exploring the critical issues of applied real estate decision making. ARES meetings are distinguished by a collegial, inclusive environment in which the only selling that occurs is that of ideas.  ARES publishes five peer-reviewed journals, and there is an opportunity to meet the editors.

In addition, the “education track” is now in its third year at the Annual Meeting. The education track includes nine panel and paper sessions over four days, designed for college, university and industry educators who wish to advance their knowledge and skills in the areas of real estate related education, curriculum, technology, data bases, and case studies.

Finally, a practitioner-oriented all-day advanced seminar on the first day of the conference will be co-sponsored by the CCIM Institute, the Appraisal Institute (AI), and ARES, to address key issues facing industry decision makers and educators. The seminar attracts many industry leaders throughout North America.
