Senior Research Analyst, Brookings Metro
The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, DC. Our mission is to conduct in-depth research that leads to new ideas for solving problems facing society at the local, national and global level.
The Senior Research Analyst will work with Metro scholars to conceptualize, develop, and execute major research projects on housing and land use policy. This includes the Resilient Cities Initiative. The Senior Research Analyst will have a strong background in urban economics and applied statistics. The Senior Analyst contributes ideas, analysis, and writing to short- and long-form policy analysis; monitors the latest initiatives and efforts in housing and land use policy; produces content designed to inform local, state, and national policy audiences; and helps plan meetings, webinars, briefings, and public events as needed.

This is a two-year termed appointment.
Please note: This position is based in Brookings' Washington, DC office. In response to COVID-19, Brookings staff are temporarily teleworking. The person hired for this position must be willing to move to or currently reside in Washington DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia by their date of hire.
