The University of Central Florida invites applications for an Instructor in the College of Business Administration’s Department of Finance and Dr. Phillips School of Real Estate. We anticipate one position to be available at our main campus in Orlando, Florida.

This is a nine-month, non-tenure-earning position. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in real estate, finance or related area from an accredited institution. Teaching experience in real estate at the university level and relevant industry experience are required. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in real estate principles, commercial real estate finance, and real estate development who hold the CCIM or equivalent professional credential and have the ability to and interest in interacting with the Central Florida real estate industry. The successful applicant must be academically qualified under both SACSCOC and AACSB standards to teach real estate at the undergraduate level. The normal teaching load for an instructor/lecturer is four courses per semester during the academic year.

The college offers part-time, executive and professional MBA programs as well as master’s degrees in accounting, management, real estate, taxation, and sports business management. The college also offers a Ph.D. in business administration with tracks in accounting, finance, management, and marketing.

The Finance Department (which includes the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate) has 23 full-time faculty members including 16 tenured and tenure-track individuals. In addition to the Ph.D. in Finance degree, the department offers a Professional Masters of Real Estate (P.M.R.E.) degree and undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate.
