The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in real estate, at the Lecturer rank, beginning Fall 2020, with an expected starting date of August 1, 2020. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to and competency for superior teaching. Participation in service activities with students and student organizations, as well as interaction with industry professionals is also expected.
Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in real estate or other closely aligned field. Candidates with a Master’s degree also must have five or more years of business experience in real estate. Additionally, candidates with Master’s Degree must document exceptional accomplishments in Real Estate or related area and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire. Preference will be given to candidates with strong communication skills and the potential for excellent teaching. The position is renewable based on performance, and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
