2019 National Conference
May 30 & 31, 2019
Park Hyatt Hotel, Washington, DC

The American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association invites paper submissions on all facets of real estate related research for our upcoming National Conference. The conference takes place in Washington, DC May 30 & 31. Informative sessions allow ample time for discussion among the presenters and session participants. Policy makers, academics, and real estate practitioners have all come to rely on the leading research and vigorous discussions that are a tradition of this conference. We encourage submissions that highlight pressing issues in real estate finance, urban economics, residential and commercial markets, policy and industry applications, and more.

While we accept abstracts, we have a strong preference for completed manuscripts.

All submissions must be transmitted via the AREUEA conference website. The submission portal is now open. Go to the 2019 National Conference webpage, the “Call for Papers” section to submit. In the submission portal, please select the “2019 National Conference.”

Submissions should include the full contact information (name, affiliation, address, phone, and email) for the corresponding author in addition to the names and affiliations of all co-authors. The submitting author must be an AREUEA member.

Before submitting, please also note the dates of the conference and be sure you will be able to attend and present the paper if it is accepted.

Submissions must be received on or before Friday, February 1, 2019.  For further information on the call for papers contact the conference Co-Chairs:
