The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2018, or as early as January 1, 2018. Responsibilities include teaching in the areas of corporate finance, investments/derivatives, financial institutions, or real estate, though applicants with preferences in other areas will be considered; active research/scholarship; and service at department, college, university, and community levels. Teaching is expected both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including in the Master of Science in Finance program and in M.B.A. courses in Finance. The college values continuing self-development in scholarship, teaching, and service consistent with AACSB standards, and collaborative interactions with colleagues. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Finance or Real Estate. Individuals near completion of their doctoral degree will be considered.
